Sharpshot – Privacy Policy

Sharpshot does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to. The app is sandboxed and has no network entitlement at all — it cannot reach the internet even if it wanted to.

What the app does

Sharpshot reads one frame of your screen at the moment you press a shortcut, and only then.

• It uses Apple's ScreenCaptureKit to grab that single frame. It never records continuously, and it does not run in the background watching your screen.
• Reading the text in a shot, and finding QR codes and barcodes in it, are done on this Mac by Apple's own Vision framework. Nothing is uploaded for recognition.
• Nothing is ever added to your shots — no watermark, no stamp, no metadata of ours.

What is kept, and where

• Your shots: written to the folder you choose. By default that is ~/Pictures/Sharpshot/; you can point it anywhere in Settings, or turn saving off entirely and keep shots on the clipboard only.
• On this Mac only: your settings, your shortcuts, and a list of the file paths of recent shots. The recents list holds paths, not copies — clearing it never deletes your files. All of it lives in the app's own folder on this Mac, is never uploaded, and is never synced.
• The clipboard is macOS's, not ours. If you have Universal Clipboard turned on in macOS, your Mac may hand what you copy to your own other devices — that is a macOS feature, and it happens outside this app.

Permissions

• Screen Recording. macOS files "take a screenshot" and "record video" under this one permission — there is no separate screenshot permission, so the name sounds bigger than the job. Sharpshot uses it for exactly one thing: grabbing a single frame when you press a shortcut. Without it, macOS hands the app a black picture, and Sharpshot says so instead of saving one.
• It never asks for Accessibility, and it never simulates keystrokes or clicks.
• It never asks for your location, your contacts, your photo library, your camera or your microphone.

Third parties

No third-party SDKs or services are included. Purchases are handled entirely by the Mac App Store; we never see your payment details.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.

截得清不收集、不存储、不传输任何个人数据。没有账号、不用登录、没有统计分析、没有崩溃上报，也没有我们的服务器可供上传。这个应用跑在沙盒里，而且根本没有网络权限——就算想联网也联不上。

这个应用做什么

截得清只在你按下快捷键的那一刻取一帧屏幕，除此之外不取。

• 取帧用的是苹果自己的 ScreenCaptureKit。它不会持续录制，也不会在后台盯着你的屏幕。
• 读出图里的字、认出图里的二维码和条形码，都由苹果自己的 Vision 框架在这台 Mac 上完成，不会为了识别把任何内容上传。
• 不会往你的图上加任何东西——没有水印、没有标记、也没有我们塞的元数据。

存了什么，存在哪儿

• 你的截图：写进你选的那个文件夹，默认是 ~/Pictures/Sharpshot/；在设置里可以改成任意位置，也可以干脆关掉存盘、只留在剪贴板上。
• 只存在这台 Mac 上：你的设置、你的快捷键，以及最近几张截图的文件路径。「最近」记的是路径不是副本——清空它不会删你的文件。这些都放在应用自己的文件夹里，不上传、不同步。
• 剪贴板是 macOS 的，不是我们的。如果你在 macOS 里开着「通用剪贴板」，系统可能把你复制的内容递给你自己的其他设备——那是 macOS 的功能，发生在这个应用之外。

权限

• 屏幕录制。macOS 把「截屏」和「录屏」归在这同一个权限底下，没有单独的截图权限，所以名字听起来比实际的事大。截得清只用它做一件事：在你按下快捷键时取一帧。没有这个权限，macOS 递过来的是一张黑图，截得清会如实说明，而不是把黑图存下来。
• 从不索取「辅助功能」权限，也从不模拟按键或点击。
• 从不索取定位、通讯录、照片图库、相机或麦克风。

第三方

不包含任何第三方 SDK 或服务。购买完全由 Mac App Store 处理，我们看不到你的支付信息。

儿童

应用评级为 4+，不会有意收集任何人（包括儿童）的信息。

变更

如果本政策有变化，新版本会在本地址发布并更新生效日期。
